RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha (RQG) is a fantasy roleplaying game set in a bronze age, mythical world called Glorantha. It is the latest of a long line of games, but the first in a long time that comes directly from Chaosium, the company that made the first edition back in 1978. Glorantha is a magic-rich and low-technology world developped by Greg Stafford.1 It is probably the most detailed RPG setting, with its own encyclopedy, the massive 800 pages and 14 pounds, two volumes Guide to Glorantha!
I haven’t played this version of RuneQuest yet but I made a character sheet
Greg Stafford (February 9, 1948 – October 11, 2018), was a prolific game designer and the founder of the role-playing game companies Chaosium (which produced RuneQuest and Call of Cthulhu among other things) and Issaries (which produced Glorantha related products and also HeroQuest). He was a giant of the role-playing industry. ↩
